Google’s Adsense program lets website owners generate income by allowing ads to be displayed on the site. Payment is made either per click or per thousand impressions. Ads that are displayed on the site are selected based on their relevance to the site, and this is determined by the frequency of keywords.

Volume of traffic on the site and click-thru rate both affect the amount of income that can be generated through Adsense. To improve income generated through Adsense, a number of steps may be beneficial:

• Focus on the quality of the website as a first step to increasing traffic. Adding solid content and keeping it fresh will give visitors a reason to keep coming back.

• Implement traffic-generating activities. Webmasters have found that activities such as emailing a weekly newsletter or offering a free item bring new and repeat visitors to the site.

• Optimize the website to ensure relevant keywords appear frequently on the pages of the site. Researching the term “search engine optimization” will provide a great deal of information on how to accomplish this.

• Test the website to determine which keywords are used most often and how these keywords rank in Google. One free tool for doing this can be found at tools.seobook.com/general/best-keywords. The site also offers a free keyword suggestion tool.

• Add the Google search box to the website if this hasn’t been done previously. When visitors use the Google search, the website’s Adsense ID is embedded in the search. The host website will be credited for any resulting click-thrus.

• Harmonize the appearance of ads with the website. Make sure that the colors of the ad text and background match those of the website so that regular content and ad links flow together smoothly. Ads that attract the highest number of clicks-thrus seem to blend in flawlessly with the content.

• Pay attention to where Adsense ads are placed. Research indicates that more click-thrus are received by ads near the top of the page and by those to the left of the page. White space surrounding the ad also improves its appeal.

Other factors that will affect Adsense income include the bid prices on the ads being displayed on the site and the amount of competition. Google’s Traffic Estimator Tool can help determine bid prices and AdWords click volume.

The Keyword Tool shows how much competition exists for a given keyword. A website can improve its Adsense income by using different keywords, either to attract better-paying ads or to achieve a higher ranking with the search engines.

Internet marketing is an evolving environment that requires ongoing monitoring and testing in order to achieve success. By tracking the effectiveness of a websites Adsense program, webmasters can develop their sites to become increasingly effective and profitable.

In order to help you avoid making some of the most common errors made by the affiliate program marketers, who are web based, we have collected those mistakes to make you aware of them. Many have learned these lessons, but through the hard way of struggling to make the sales that just never closed, the entire idea is about closing the sales!

1. Failure to understand that people scan information

An affiliate marketer?s failure to realize that the people visiting your website will read about thirty percent of the matter on your page is the sure number one error. Most people, particularly the highly intelligent, busy professionals, having the money to purchase the products that you have to offer, are generally too busy to study every word.

They are going to search for and focus on the bullet points, highlights, blurbs and pictures to decide if the information is good enough and if they should spend time on reading more. Do not fall into the same trap. Make landing page of your affiliate marketing such that all the major points seem to stand out and cannot go unnoticed by the person scanning the page.

2. Lack of success in offering bundled packages

It is human nature to want things for free. Let your prospect feel that they are getting more for what they are paying for, by adding free prospects to the product you are marketing, or free software to enhance the product, or just a free subscription to any newsletter. Do not just offer them your product and ask them to get away. Add a package to which no one can refuse!

3. Failure in following up

Out of every 100 people who come across a sales page on any particular affiliate marketing, one among them will surely purchase immediately. The remaining 99 would move to another page with no chance of returning back. To attract these people, use an autoresponder, to allow signing-up for free reports. So, even if 25% of them sign up for your free reports, it would mean that twenty four people will see in their inbox, your product through free reports. Now if 10% of them do buy your product, you get to have 3.4 sales every 100 visitors, instead of 1. And it is an extremely conservative estimate.

4. Flooding the inbox of the prospect

Everyone dislikes seeing 5-6 messages from a single marketer, on opening their inbox. That is a sure-shot way to land you into their e-mail blocking list! Instead contact them every few days, and then slowing down to just once a week, to even once in two weeks, between your contacts. Sales can be generated through persistence, so do not give up if you?re contact shy of sales closure.

5. Failure to construct sales of second tier

As an affiliate marketer, you can?t just make profits out of just your own sales. Anyone who joins the program, on the basis of your referral, is sure to join membership of your own downline, and in fact a small percentage of profit made by their own sales would also come trickling down to you. All people wish to have the largest possible downline. Also, do not forget that the ones joining under your downline can help in getting trickle-up profits.

The following article covers a topic that has recently moved to center stage--at least it seems that way. If you've been thinking you need to know more about it, here's your opportunity.

Since the advent of the information technology, the Internet had been a valuable commodity to most people. Here, they find ways on how to earn more money even without having to spend more capital on building a business.

Nowadays, many business people are realizing the importance of email marketing. Through emails, an online business can market their product directly through their customers.

Generally, the main purpose of email marketing is to reach their target audience as quickly and as direct as possible. They need to reach their target market so as to promote their products and services that would benefit their customers.

However, some businesses use email marketing in order to maintain their contact and relationship with their customers.

The reason why email marketing has grown in such unprecedented rate is based on the fact that people in the virtual community are always hungry for information. They subscribe to information that they are interested in.

On the other hand, not all people are willing to subscribe to such information. They may be interested on your products once but may no longer be interested to buy again. Moreover, when you continue to send those emails that do not have their permissions, you can be accused of spamming.

Today, spamming is a serious offense especially in the world of information technology. Because the Internet is such a wild place, most authorities regard the privacy of each person as valuable and they continue to uphold this thinking even on the Internet.

With this, the creation of opt in list had gained tremendous acceptance. Because of its viability and feasibility to most online businesses, a lot of people have realized how important opt in lists are in email marketing.

Basically, opt in list refers to the list of email addresses of people who have agreed to subscribe to your mailing list. In this way, you can freely send emails that entail promotions, brochures, new product announcements, and every aspect of your marketing campaign.

Hopefully the information presented so far has been applicable. You might also want to consider the following:

When you build an opt in list, you do not only increase the probability of being successful in email marketing but also boost your sales and profits as well. This is because building an opt in list will give you the chance to stay in contact with your customers by getting their email address.

In this manner, you can continue to promote your products and services in which they are interested in because they have opted to subscribe in your mailing list. Hence, whatever it is that you feed them, chances are, they will most likely respond positively.

In reality, building an opt in list is actually letting the people realize the charisma and magic of email marketing. In this way, spams will be avoided, if not eliminated, and will not ruin the positive image of email marketing.

With spamming, email marketing becomes a disgraceful activity in the Internet. But with opt in list, online businesses can continue to boost their businesses through email marketing without having to worry about being accused of spamming.

In building opt in list, there are two types to be considered. The first one is the single opt-in and the other one is the double opt-in or the confirmed opt-in.

In building single opt-in list, online businesses would simply use a “sign-up tag” in their web sites so that every time a person visits their website, he or she can opt to subscribe in the business’ email list.

On the other hand, a confirmed opt-in list or double opt-in entails a confirmation message after the customer had subscribed to the particular web site’s email list.

Usually, the confirmation takes place by replying on a system-generated message that asks for a confirmation of the subscription or by clicking on a link that entails the confirmation of the customer.

Whatever type of opt in list you would prefer, each has its own pros and cons when it comes to email marketing. But nevertheless, both are designed to give your online business the best solution possible in order to generate emails and permissions without having to get into trouble.

Indeed, email marketing is such a profitable business in the Internet. But it would not be complete and will never succeed without the help of the opt-in lists. These two must always go hand-in-hand in order to be successful in the virtual world of Internet marketing.

As your knowledge about email marketing continues to grow, you will begin to see how email marketing fits into the overall scheme of things. Knowing how something relates to the rest of the world is important too.

With pay per click and Google Adsense you can build your affiliate marketing business with targeted traffic. This has become a very effective way to earn online profits. And if your website is rich with original quality content and you want to earn more profit, you can use Google Adsense to drive your profits.

Why Use Pay Per Click To Promote Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is one of the simplest and one of the most effective ways to earn profits online. Online retailers can benefit from affiliate marketing programs, because affiliate marketing actually works for merchants as well as it works for the affiliates. Many affiliate programs pay up to 75% commission.

There are many different methods on how the merchant can compensate the affiliate for their services, and for the webmaster, these methods simply are a great way to make cash using these types of services.

Here are the 3 types of compensation with affiliate programs:

1. Pay-per-click

2. Pay-per-lead

3. Pay-per-sale

The pay per click method is the method most preferred by many affiliates, for their site?s visitor would only have to visit the advertiser?s site for them to receive money if the visitor clicks on one of the ads. In general this is how Google AdSense works. The traffic is targeted with the right type of original content on the webmasters website.

The other two methods, (pay per lead) and (pay per sale) on the other hand, are sometimes preferred by merchants, as they would only have to compensate you if your visitor becomes one of their customers or if the visitor would actually purchase their products or services.

Building large profits with affiliate marketing programs does not depend so much on the compensation method as it does on the targeted traffic generated to your site. A website that can attract more targeted visitors would generally have the greater chance of profiting in affiliate marketing programs.

How Does Google Adsense Relate To Pay Per Click?

Google Adsense is actually an affiliate marketing program in its own right. With Google Adsense, Google acts as the intermediary for the affiliates and the merchants. The merchant, or the advertiser, would simply sign up with Google and provide text ads pertaining to their products and services. These ads, which are actually links to the advertiser?s website, would then appear on Google searches as well as on the websites owned by the affiliates, or by people who have signed up with the Google Adsense program.

You can find some aspects that are similar with Google Adsense and other affiliate marketing programs and you can also see a lot of differences. With Google Adsense, all the person has to do is put some code on their website and Google takes care of just about everything else.

The ads that Google places on your site will generally be targeted and relevant to the content of your site. This is an advantage for both you and for the advertiser, as the visitors of your site would more or less be interested with the products or services that are advertised.

Google Adsense is a program that compensates the affiliate on a pay-per-click basis. The advertiser pays Google a certain amount each time their ad on your site is clicked and Google then forwards this amount to you with checks, although only after Google have deducted their share of the amount. Google Adsense checks are sent monthly after the affiliate has reached a total of $100. Google Adsense helps with a tracking tool that allows you to monitor the earnings you actually get from certain ads.

Affiliate marketing programs and pay per click programs such as Google Adsense work very well, whether you are the merchant or the affiliate. For the merchant?s side, a lot of money can be saved if advertising effort is concentrated on affiliate marketing rather than on dealing with advertising firms. For the webmaster, you can easily gain a lot of profits just by doing what you do best, and that is by creating websites with original targeted content.

With this combination of profits from both the Google Adsense program and other affiliate programs, you could earn some decent income

Below are ten ways to use them to increase your traffic and sales.

1. Offer your course as a free bonus for purchasing one of your main products or services. People will buy your products quicker when you offer a bonus.

2. When you write and give away a free course you will become known as an expert. This'll gain people's trust and they will buy your main product quicker.

3. Allow others to add your free course to their own product packages. Their customers will see your ad when they purchase.

4. People love to get freebies. A free autoresponder course is perfect. They will visit your web site to get the free valuable information.

5. Allow people to receive your course for free, if they give you the e-mail addresses of 3 to 5 friends or associates that would be interested.

6. Allow other people to give away your free course. This will increase the number of people that will see your ad in the course.

7. You could trade advertising space in your course for other forms of advertising. It could be banner ads, e-zine ads, web site ads, etc.

8. Gain new leads by having people sign up and give you their contact info before they can receive your autoresponder course.

9. Give away the autoresponder course as a free gift to your current customers as a way of letting them know you appreciate their business.

10. Give away the course to people that join your affiliate program. This will increase the number of people that sign-up.

11. Make money selling advertising space in your course. You could charge for small classified ads or sponsor ads.

12. Get free advertising by submitting your course to freebie web sites. This will increase the number of people that will see your ads in the course.

13. Make money by selling the reprint rights to those people that would like to sell the course. You could make more money by selling the master rights.

14. Hold a contest on your web site so people could win your course. You will get free advertising when you submit your contest to free contest directories.

15. You'll gain valuable referrals from people telling others about your course. Word of mouth advertising can be very effective.

16. Make money cross promoting your course with other people's products or services. This technique will double your marketing effort.

17. Increase your e-zine subscribers by giving your course to people that subscribe to your e-zine. This'll give people an incentive to subscribe.

18. Allow your affiliates to use the free course as a promotional tool for your product. Each lesson could include their affiliate link.

19. Promote other businesses affiliate programs you join with your free autoresponder course. Include a different affiliate link on each lesson.

20. Advertise a different product or service on each lesson. If you only have one, use different emotional response ads on each lesson.

Have you ever tried to promote a website without traffic?

Sure, is sound like stupid question, but reality is that

Without traffic, you will not get visitors. And without visitors, you will not make money, sales, get subscribers, etc.

So, What good is a website without any traffic? And if the site is getting traffic, what good is it if it is not targeted traffic?

There are many ways to drive traffic to your site, both free and paid. But we are going to talk about the one you probably love the most: Free Targeted Traffic.

So, let us go back to 3 different free traffic systems available:

1) Search Engine Optimization
2) Surfing for traffic
3) Getting it passively

1) Search Engine Optimization (SEO):

SEO takes time and a lot of work. It works really great when you know how to do it, but if you go after this one, I recommend you to learn from 3 guys online, and believe me, they know what they are talking about, just go to google and search for:

Brad Fallon

Andy Jenkins

or, Brad Callen

I recommend you take a look for Brad Callen´s free seo guide, you will find it somewhere out there in cyberspace and it is called: "Search engine made easy".

2) Surfing for traffic

When you join sites that are surf for traffic sites, you have to look at other members' sites in order to earn advertising credits for your site to be displayed when another member is surfing.

The only problem with this is that although the traffic is free, it is not targeted.

Everyone who is a member only surfs for the credit and very rarely and y mean rarely even looks at the site, they just minimize their window on their PC and multi-task. So, the traffic in most cases is crap and worthless.

3) Getting it passively

Now, let us talk about the best way to get free targeted traffic. It is called Instant Buzz. Instant Buzz is a service that gives you advertising credits as you surf the web like you normally would.

What you do is download the toolbar for free, it only takes a minute. Then, you set up your ads in the members area. And bam, you ads are being displayed on other members' tool bars as they surf.

You can also put Instant Buzz ads in emails that you send to your friends. These are called mail space ads.

And your ad will get displayed in other members' emails. The last thing you can do is put a hyperspace ad on your website which will help you refer other members.

When you refer other members, you will also get a percentage of the credits they earn which will go towards your ad credits.

If someone likes your ad and is interested in what it says, then they click on it and end up on whatever site it was that you were promoting. Now that's targeted traffic! And it was free.

You decide what to use, and remember if it is free, well, why not?...

Why is Affiliate Marketing Important?

Affiliate marketing appeals to merchants because it is a pay for performance model, meaning the merchant does not incur a marketing expense unless results are realised.

Why you need an Affiliate Marketing strategy…

• Expand reach
Want more customers? More leads? More sales? Affiliate marketing allows you to sell your goods and services via a wide range of websites and blogs (and paid search networks), without the need for a huge marketing budget.

• Brand exposure
Raise perceptions of your brand through exposure on quality third party websites. This is a free benefit for merchants, since they do not pay for advertising.

• Drive revenue
Well-run affiliate programmes, with proactive affiliate managers, can generate terrific returns for merchants. It is important to liaise with affiliates on a regular basis, making life as easy as possible for them. You also need to identify and engage your best performing affiliates, to ensure that they get the best out of their efforts.

• Inform marketing activities
Learn from affiliates about what is working in terms of pricing, offers, products, propositions, landing pages … and what is not working. For example, you can watch the best performing affiliates to see how they write their Google ads for the best response. These skilled practitioners can help you improve other areas of your business.

• Reduce costs/financial risks
Merchants have a virtual sales force without having to worry about staff salaries, overheads, sick pay etc. The CPA (cost per action) performance model is very cost effective in this respect.

• Measurability and accountability
Affiliate networks have lots of tools to help you track your campaigns. Combine this information with your web analytics and sales data to see the big picture and measure ROI.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

10 facts about Affiliate Marketing:

1. A layman’s guide to affiliate marketing is this: web publishers will generate leads and sales for you, in return for a bounty each time they do so. Most affiliate programmes are based around this sort of CPA model (cost per acquisition). This is essentially pay on performance, so you only reward affiliates when sales are made.

2. Publishers might display your banner ads to drive referrals. You don’t buy this advertising, you simply pay them when people click through and sign up.

3. Many of the most successful affiliates are experts in paid search. To this end, they can be viewed as an outsourced marketing team. Some ‘super’ affiliates spend millions each year on Google Adwords, and return healthy profits. They are skilled at trading on the margin between buying these ads and your commission.

4. Affiliate marketing networks provide their advertiser clients (aka merchants) with technology and services while acting as a gateway to large numbers of individual affiliates (the publishers). Affiliates search the network to find ads relevant to their audience.

5. The appeal of affiliate marketing for merchants is increased sales, transparency of ROI, and the ability to pay commission to affiliates based purely on performance.

6. Affiliate marketing is becoming an established marketing technique, complementing and sometimes replacing other types of online and offline marketing as an important channel to market. It extends reach without the need for a marketing budget (bounties = cost per sale).

7. The majority of merchants involved with affiliate marketing operate through networks, paying a fee to the network for the sales and leads that are accrued by affiliates.

8. Last year affiliates generated around £2.16 billion in sales for UK-based merchants.

9. The market continues to enjoy robust growth in line with the phenomenal growth of online retail, which shows no signs of abating.

10. Currently the most active sectors for affiliate marketing are the adult, gambling and retail sectors. The three sectors expected to experience the greatest growth are the mobile phone, finance and travel sectors.

When Amazon started its affiliate business in July 1996, I am sure Jeff Bezos did not foresee the tremendous power of affiliate marketing and the remarkable effect it would have in improving people?s lives all around the world?

Today Online Affiliate Marketing is a HUGE business! Millions of people from various countries around the world are marketing affiliate programs and products. And the number keeps on growing expotentially on a daily basis. People from all walks of life are taking the affiliate road to riches and becoming Internet millionaires.

So, what is this online rage called Affiliate Marketing?

It is a business relationship between a merchant or service provider and affiliate partners who work together to promote a product or service. The merchant pays the affiliate a commission for generating leads, clicks or sales for its product or service.

Why is Online Affiliate Marketing so popular?

1. Inexpensive:

People love the sound and feel of FREE, and most of the online affiliate programs are free to join. You can become an affiliate without having to pay a penny. You don?t even have to buy the product to promote it.

2. No employees to manage:

There is no need to hire staff. You can work completely on your own and at your own pace without the need to hire employees to do the work for you.

3. Customer service:

The affiliate merchants take care of all your customer services. There is no shipping, or handling. Product arrival is the merchant?s responsibility.

4. Little or no overhead expenses:

You don?t have to worry about things like credit card processing. That is also the merchant?s responsibility. You can spend as much or as little time as you want promoting your affiliate product or service.

What do you need to become a successful Affiliate?

Excellent Affiliate Programs

Choose your affiliate programs carefully. Look for programs you would be proud to promote and be associated with. Select programs that you know something about or have a background in. Promotion should be a pleasure rather than a boring chore or job. Check out the affiliate merchant for legitimacy, longevity and payment history. Everyone wants to get paid.

Education

The affiliate company should also have a good training program and follow up training or workshops to keep you up to date. It is extremely important to learn all you can about the product or service you plan to promote so you can promote it with the utmost zeal and confidence. Education should never stop. Time dedicated to the pursuit of product education each week is well spent.

The potential to earn multiple streams of income:

Select multiple programs, don?t just choose one affiliate program. Pick at least five programs to ensure multiple streams of revenue. It is great to get several checks each week from different affiliate merchants.

Promote, promote, promote...

Make this the first thing on your agenda each day. Before you begin any business tasks for the day promote your programs or services. The Internet is an evolving entity where marketing methods change rapidly. Keep informed of the latest methods coming on stream, learn how they can benefit your business and used them to help your business excel.

Affiliate marketing is still the easiest way to start an online business; so go for it. Create a turnkey marketing system that will generate multiple streams of Affiliate income for you every day of the year.

Quickest Way To Get Started Online

By: The Legend

Looking to start a home based business online for some extra $Cash$ and are looking for ideas on How-To get started as quickly as possible with as little or NO start up costs?

Well... let me share with you my idea on how 'Anyone' can get started online within the next 24 hours without a website or product of their own.

Are you ready?

The quickest way 'Anyone' can get started online is by becoming an - Affiliate Marketer.

What is a Affiliate Marketer you ask? The answers simple. You simply market others peoples products for a cut(usually between 30-70% commission on every sale made by you).

That's as easy as a definition gets, so I hope you get the picture.

Now that you understand what the quickest way to get started online is its now time for me to explain to you the "TOP 5 Reasons WHY" this is the answer.

Reason #1. NO Domain Costs.

The beautiful thing about being an affiliate is they supply you with a unique Domain with your affiliate ID for you to promote. Though some affiliate domains are quite ugly, the fact remains that you don't have to worry about paying to register any domains to get started with your promotions.

There are advanced affiliate marketing techniques using domains but I won't get into that here.

Reason #2. NO Hosting Costs.

By being an affiliate you don't have to worry about web hosting because once you sign up as an affiliate you get your own unique URL which simply redirects your potential customer to the main affiliate website.

Again there are advanced affiliate marketing techniques that require hosting but that's a whole other article in itself.

Reason #3. NO Product to worry about creating.

Once again the advantage to being an affiliate is that you don't have to worry about creating your own product. That's why you became an affiliate in the first place.

Reason #4. NO Website or Salesletter to create.

Creating a profitable Website and Salesletter can be quite the costly task especially when it comes to your salesletter.

We're not on this planet for very long, so while we're here, we might as well enjoy it. So you should buy things. Sure, you're smart enough to not run out and buy whatever catches your eye, but you want to have nice things. You deserve them.

Want to own a car or a house? You'll need a loan, and to get a loan you have to get your credit checked. One thing that you will be surprised about is how many credit reports out there have big mistakes on them. Does yours?

If you are not sure, you need to find out right away. You need to get a copy of your credit report every 12 months and check it thoroughly. Why? Because mistakes can happen, and they do happen all the time.

Why do mistakes happen all the time? The answer is actually fairly simple. Often it's just a matter of human error. Perhaps they accidentally mistyped a piece of information somewhere in your past or perhaps they mistyped someone else's information but accidentally put it on your file. It happens a lot.

So what can you do about it? Again, the answer is simple. You need to get a copy of your credit report and go over it with a fine toothed comb. Identify the parts that are accurate and the parts that are inaccurate.

When you find inaccurate information you need to highlight it clearly. Then you need to find supporting documents and information to prove the inaccuracy. For example, if your credit report shows that you have been renting since you moved out of your parents' house but you actually bought your own house a few years ago, you may want to provide them with some of your mortgage papers and particulars to prove what is accurate.

Then write a polite letter of explanation that clearly details the points you want to clarify and send it off to the credit bureau. When they receive your request, they need to investigate each claim before they fix it. This is because they get many people who file bogus claims of inaccuracy all the time.

It can take a while to get everything squared away, but when you do it, you can enjoy the peace of mind that should you need a loan, you'll have an accurate credit report to work from and to back you up. And, with an accurate credit report, you'll be able to quickly identify any identity theft problems that may occur.

So don't lose sleep over your credit rating. Instead, contact your credit bureau and get a copy and check for inaccuracies.

?Christmas Time, Mistletoe and Wine? How many times have you heard this so far and its only November? A few I?ll bet, but with Christmas seemingly becoming earlier to us each year, we will no doubt feel the need to get ahead with our present and food buying. This though only leads to us spending more than we should. This is because with the shops full of decorations and Christmas tunes, the stores are dictating to us that we have to buy our gifts now, which will mean by the time December has come and gone. We would have spent more over the 2-month period that the shops have been full of Christmas cheer.

This is not all bah! Humbug.

Personally for the occasion alone and seeing the kids faces when they open their presents on Christmas morning, as Christmas is a special time of year that for the day makes all the preparation and spending all worth while.

But that doesn?t mean that it comes without cost and in some cases more of a cost than folk can ill afford. For all of its pomp and occasion, Christmas can come at a heavy price to bear for a lot of people who, rather than let their children and family down, will turn to the promise of riches that credit cards and store cards offer.

Don?t get me wrong, credit cards and even store cards, have their uses. This is only true though, if you only use them to your advantage, to get the best out of them. If you are thinking of taking one or the other, then the only suggestion that I can make is to plump for the credit card, over the store card.

We all want to enjoy this time of year, so by getting all that you want to do this and in doing so, save cash and not to fall heavily into debt, will make the festivities all the more enjoyable. So by giving you a few advantages and disadvantages, which credit cards and store cards entail, will hopefully go a long way on helping you make the right decisions.

Firstly the advantages of credit cards:

? More favourable interest rates than a store card.

? Many offers on the market, which are giving you an interest free period.

? Some come with money back schemes that give you a percentage of your expenditure back to you. (Usually between 0.5%- 2%)

? Will protect your gifts, as soon as you have bought them.

? Lets you buy now and pay at a later date, only on what you have spent without incurring any interest charges.

Now the disadvantages:

? Can lead you to spend more than you can afford to pay back, which in turn will lead to the interest being charged to your account.

? They can come with a heavy hit in the pocket, with charges for late payments and going over your credit limit.

Advantages of the store card:

? Can use them as soon as you are accepted for the card.

? Initial discount (normally 10% off you first purchase) will give you a saving straight away.

Disadvantages:

? Overly high interest rates, which are well above those of a credit card. Some can be as much as 30%.

? Can lead you quickly to debt, if they are not cleared at the end of each month.

? Sold to the customer, by assistants who know absolutely nothing about what they are selling.

?Try not to become a man of success, but rather a man of value.? -- Albert Einstein

Allow me to emphasize again that in any business endeavor, it is of the utmost importance that you take the time necessary to prepare yourself first. Then, take action. Success in business is achievable through preparation, action and persistence in offering real value to your customer. By preparing and educating yourself first, you will already be well on your way to becoming successful in affiliate marketing.

The Desire to become the best at what you do in your chosen business endeavor, is but one of the keys to real success. There are many. But, you should know that achieving true success in any business, requires that you consistently bring something of value to your customer.

Mr. Einstein summed it up very well when he commented on becoming a man of success. Success in affiliate marketing, equals consistent value. Period, paragraph, end of story.

In one of my previous articles, I discussed the importance of building a powerful brand name. Powerful brand name recognition is dependent upon the amount of value you consistently bring to the most people.

Think again for a moment about the people you value most in life. Aren?t they people who deliver something you value? They have skills, knowledge, or personal characteristics that add to the quality of your life. Their ?brands? or reputations carry a promise.

As was mentioned before, the individuals who are most successful in the world today, are those who offer the greatest value to the most people ? just as those products and services with the strongest brands are the ones that offer us the greatest value.

To be successful in affiliate marketing, you need to bring something of value to the lives of others. The best way to bring real value to others, is by standing for or promoting something that you are passionate about. One of the biggest mistakes that almost all affiliates make when they are first starting out, is that they try to promote too many things at once. You should choose one or two products or services that are most exiting to you. Things that you are passionate about. Things that youhave some knowledge of. You?d be surprised at how many people would pay you for knowledge you have on a particular subject or service or skill.

As you promote your product or service, you should always try to interject and incorporate into your advertising, as much of your own knowledge and wit as possible. Remember, you are unique. Like afingerprint. No one can say it quite like you can.

Think about this. If you market something you are passionate about, then basically, you are no longer marketing. You?re just giving valuable advice on a subject you know and love. If a person fails or refuses to take your advice at the time, then there really is no loss. All you?ve done, was to give some quality advice. You should move on and continue advising /marketing your product(s) to others. But understand this, because of the quality and value of the advice you gave them in the first place, they will more than likely, return to you, for more.

One up and coming internet marketer by the name of Anik Singal, has created very powerful brand-name recognition in a relatively short period of time. If you don?t know about him yet, you should get to know him soon, as he is an excellent person to model after in terms of offering something of great value to the most people. Anik recently launched a training program called Affiliate Classroom that was already highly anticipated in the internet marketing community before it even launched, and has since grown to over 28,000 loyal followers. In fact, Top Internet Marketers are saying about the Affiliate Classroom that, ?There?s so much valuable information in here that?s absolutely gold!?

Anik, and his pet project, Affiliate Classroom, have built a powerfulbrand-name. It was done by simply offering something of great value, in this case, affiliate marketing training and guidance of extremely high quality, and by consistently delivering on that ?promise? of giving others what they want and need.

This is what is meant by becoming a man or person of value. By giving valuable, sound, usable advice, you quickly become a personthat others will return to. You begin to build brand name recognition.People will notice the effect your quality advice has on their lives. Your knowledge, your passion, has now become valuable to them.

?He who does not know how to serve, cannot know how to command.? --Unknown

Until next time, I wish you much success.

Are you an affiliate marketer who is concerned about the recent Adwords changes that have threatened to pull the rug from under you? Here is a short note about life of an affiliate marketer under the new Adwords regime.

Before the new rules were announced, many affiliate marketers were posting ads on Adwords which took the prospect directly to the merchant?s site. They completely depended on the merchant to get the sale. Now the prospect would become the customer of the merchant, if he bought something from him. However the advertiser has completely lost contact with this person except for getting the credit for the 1 sale that he referred.

The super affiliate did not operate this way. He would advertise on Adwords for sure but send the prospect to a landing page on his own site where he will pre-sell the prospect. This means that he will provide relevant information about the product, an honest review, even mention some shortcomings (if he knows about something), offer tutorials or screen-shots and like. Then he will offer some free gift in return for the prospect?s email address for further follow up. From the thank you page here, he will refer the prospect to the merchant?s sales page.

This way even if the prospect will not buy anything from the merchant, the affiliate does not lose him completely. He can regularly follow up with relevant information and send solicitations for other products for long term profits.

This is the way of the masters and if you are following this path, you will end up doing much more work. However there are rich rewards for reaping. The excellent Make Your Content Pre-sell guide ( http://www.ebizindia.com/mycps.php ) discusses this concept in great details and is a must-have for any serious affiliate marketer.

This type of affiliates will be absolutely untouched by the new Adwords guidelines. However if you have been sending your prospects directly to the merchant, it is high time you made a move. Shift all your campaigns to a landing page on your site and you have no worries.

As a bonus, you even get to eliminate the Aff. or affiliate identification you had to put on every ad, which was a big stumbling block in the sale process.

Best of success for your Adwords campaign in the new era!

One of the hottest ways to sell affiliate products is using Google AdWords. Follow these tips and strategies to maximize your earning potential.

1. Seek out affiliate products that generate fifteen dollars or more in commission. Anything in the twenty-dollar range works well. Paying for clicks can add up quickly and when you do make a sell, it should be profitable.

2. The vendor must present a high quality website with first-rate graphics. If the site appears to be unprofessional, any potential buyer will loose confidence and leave before the sell is made.

3. Make it a requirement that the vendor website only displays one product or service on the referral page. Nothing kills a sell faster than having to many sells messages.

4. The vendor needs to include outstanding sales copy. It's easy to realize the importance of this principle; words are what turn shoppers into buyers on the Internet.

5. When evaluating a potential affiliate program ask yourself if this product or service is something you would feel comfortable buying. Put yourself in the place of the buyer. If you wouldn't buy it, why would they?

6. It's preferable if the vendor site does not obviously advertise for the recruitment of more affiliates. An affiliate link is fine as long as it is low key.

7. The best affiliate programs will attempt to secure the email address of your referrals. Some prospects need to see a sales message at least seven times before they will buy. Make sure you still get credit for sales made during the follow up.

8. The vendor should provide testimonials. Testimonials create confidence and trust leading your prospects to make a purchase.

9. You will recognize a profitable affiliate program because at least one in fifty clicks creates a sell. Constantly monitor your expense versus profit for each set of keywords.

10. Track your keywords and delete any that do not get clicked on after two hundred impressions. The higher your click through rate, the higher position you receive in relation to your competitors.

Content as we know it is the Life-Blood or FUEL, if you will, of the Internet.

That was and still is the Internets sole purpose, except only now it's commercialized, giving the online entrepreneur the world at their fingers tips.

And the facts are that usually when people first come online it's not to go purchase something, it's to look for Information that will answer a question they might have about a particular product they're interested in and/or to a problem they are dealing with and are searching for a solution.

Ask yourself this, "Why do I go online?"

Does it resemble anything like what I just stated?

Only you can answer that.

These are simply the facts with out a doubt... Period!

Now that you have an idea of WHY people come online, I'm now going to explain to you how you can...

"Explode Your Google Adsense and Affiliate Commissions Through Niche Blog Content Sites"

Did you notice the last two words within the quotations?

That's right, Content Sites.

What are Content Sites?

I think it's pretty self explanatory but the basic definition of a Content Site is this - it's a site that contains targeted content that targets a particular niche or many niches.(niche examples: cars, fitness, hobbies, etc.)

Not quite up to speed on what a blog is, here's a quick definition of a blog - a blog(A.K.A. Web-Log) is simply a place to go and post your personal thoughts that you can share with your subscribers and/or readership and receive feedback.

Now that you know the basic definitions of a Content Site and a Blog lets continue.

Content Sites can contain Hundreds-to-Thousands of pages of keyword rich content, which by the way is exactly what the Search Engines love and will come back for if New content is added on a frequent basis giving the owner of that site lots of opportunity to benefit from the Free traffic inwhich the content pages, or what I like to call Feeder Pages, generate.

So, now that you have an idea of what a Content Site and a Blog is it's now time to tell you how you can build your own Niche Blog Content Site Empire, no matter what your niche is, using Blogs, Google Adsense and ClickBank affiliate products.

Bare in mind that the steps outlined below are only going to be a summarization of the actual process involved.

So, with that said, here it is.

Step #1. Set up a Blog.

The first step is quite simple. All you have to do is set up a Blog either through...

Blogger.com - http://www.blogger.com

or...

Wordpress.org - http://www.wordpress.org

This blog your setting up is going to be the foundation of your Niche Blog Content Site and is where the rest of the pieces of the puzzle are going to be added to once you've set it up.

(Quick Tip: Make sure you use your Target Keywords within your URL of your niche blog and in the Title and Description. VERY Important!)

Once you have your niche blog set up move on to Step #2.

Step #2. Adding your Google Adsense code.

Depending on your experience with scripting and html, it's now time to add your Google Adsense code to your new niche blog in 3 strategic places.

Google allows you to add 3 Google Adsense blocks only to one page, no more than that, so I recommend one at the Top, one in the Right or Left sidebar depending on the template you choose and one at the Bottom of your blog.

By doing this your almost forcing your reader to click on a link within the Google Adsense block, which is of course, is exactly what you want and where your going to make the money.

The other great thing about Google Adsense is the ads are targeted to the content that you post, giving the reader even more reason to click through.

Here's a few resources for you that will show you how to add the Google Adsense code to your blog using the services I mentioned above if your not sure how to yourself.

Blogger.com: http://help.blogger.com/bin/answer.py?answer=964

Wordpress.org: http://www.acmetech.com/blog/adsense-deluxe/

Simply follow the instructions and you'll have Google Adsense installed on your niche blog in no time.

Step #3. Find a related ClickBank product.

Now it's time to go shopping at ClickBank.com - http://www.clickbank.com - for a related information product that targets your niche.

Once there click on the link Earn Commissions at the bottom.

This will bring to to their directory where you'll find many products to choose from that will target any niche your blog is about.

(Quick Tip: The first 10 listed under each category are the TOP converting programs, meaning... their the ones making the most money.)

If you don't have a ClickBank.com nickname you'll have to sign up for one. It'll only take you a few minutes.

From there, once you've chosen a program to join your going to want to collect all the affiliate materials available, like Articles, Banners, Text Links, etc., because your going to place these on your NEW niche blog site with your affiliate link linked to them so when your reader clicks on them and decides to buy the related information, you get the commission.

Well... there you have it, 3 steps to "Explode Your Google Adsense and Affiliate Commissions Through Niche Blog Content Sites".

Now the only thing left for you to do is to start building an audience by promoting your Blog.

Here's a few resources for you to get started with.

Ping-O-Matic - http://pingomatic.com

RSS Top 55 - http://www.masternewmedia.org/rss/top55

Remember this is just a summarized version and is only going to give you the basic steps, so good luck to you and your Niche Blog Content Site Empire.
