Making a Good Title for your video:

Write a catchy title like “You HAVE to see this rare magic trick!" will attract the viewers’ attention.

“Make Money Online” - is not a good title.

“Make $1000 Online” - is better

“How I made $1000 Online” - is even better

“How I made $1000 in just 2 hours” - works best!

A structured settlement is a legal payout where someone who's been injured and otherwise hurt is given monetary compensation. A structured settlement annuity come in the form of a series of payments made over the course of a period of time. The bonus to this type of payment is that the aggrieved gets a steady stream of income coming in for a long period of time, the downfall of this type of settlement is that the person getting the funds might find themselves in a situation where they need a lump-sum for unexpected expenses or a big ticket item they might have their...

To consider the nature of some of the unexpected expenses someone receiving settlement payments can incur, one needs to consider the nature as to why people receive a structured annuity. Often, the settlement comes as the result of a court case where the claimant receives money as a result of some accident suffered. Often, these injuries can be severe enough the claimant could have serious medical conditions arise, conditions that might only show up after the person has settled there case.

They might need some quick money for an operation and selling off settlement annuity payments is a good way to get the cash owed to them in as little as 6 to 8 weeks. Of course, medical emergencies can quickly arise with any member of a family as well.

Another reason to sell off a structured settlement rings with a more positive note. As there are no legal reasons why a claimant cannot decide to sell off this asset, some of the more shrewd claimants keep an eye on the stocks and other markets to see if they can't transfer a lump sum from an annuity into another kind of moneymaker. Still, when considering this, it's important to realize that selling off a structured settlement will include a fee to the company helping you with the transaction.

Some of the people receiving a settlement annuity think about investing in something that's a little more tangible. A fair number of these claimants decide to buy homes with the proceeds from a structured settlement factoring transaction because the investment is something they can enjoy and pass along to their families when they pass on. Again, selling off these payments for this purpose demands careful attention to detail. Often, first time homeowners don't factor in all the little 'hidden' expenses that go with homeownership and these expenses can be especially worrisome when there's no stream of income coming in.

The final reason to sell off a structured settlement is perhaps the most realistic but at the same time the saddest. Often due to the nature of their injuries, people receiving structured settlements have shortened lifespans. So, it's not unusual for these people to want to take care of their families and cashing in a portion of their settlement annuity can help their families live a better life.

About MetaCafe.....

Metacafe is one of the world's largest video sites, attracting more than 25 million unique viewers each month (comScore Media Metrix). We specialize in short-form original content - from new, emerging talents and established Hollywood heavyweights alike. We're committed to delivering an exceptional entertainment experience, and we do so by engaging and empowering our audience every step of the way.

Since 2003 Metacafe has been one of the top independent online video sites, and we're a leader in the evolution of digital entertainment. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with offices in Tel Aviv and New York. Metacafe is privately held and investors include Accel Partners, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and Highland Capital Partners.

How is Metacafe different?

Metacafe is not a video sharing and hosting site that allows any and every video to be posted. Instead, Metacafe is a video entertainment site that focuses on:

  1. Short-form - Metacafe specializes in short-form original video - content that is made for the interactive Internet medium. We don't have full-length television episodes or movies chopped into pieces. The average video on our site is just over 90 seconds long. People come to Metacafe looking for an entertainment break in their day - and we deliver.
  2. Entertainment - We're all about entertaining a large audience by featuring only those videos that amaze, inspire and make viewers laugh. This means you won't find hard news stories, personal videos or webcam chatter on Metacafe.
  3. Audience-driven - The Metacafe experience is determined entirely by our community. Videos are user-generated, user-selected, user-reviewed and user-rewarded. At Metacafe, we put the audience in the driver's seat, empowering viewers in a much more meaningful way than other video sites.
    • . Community Auditions - A community review panel of more than 80,000 volunteers takes a first look at each of the thousands of videos submitted to the site every day.
    • .Community Rankings - Our VideoRank™ system identifies and exposes the most popular videos by automatically gauging every interaction each viewer has with a video.
    • .Community Rewards - Our Producer Rewards™ program pays video creators for their best original work, as determined by the viewers.

What does this all add up to? A better entertainment experience. We consistently hear from our viewers that it's easier to find videos they like on our site as compared to others - and that keeps them coming back for more.

and i hope you enjoy the metacafe and my Channel @ http://www.metacafe.com/channels/the1legend/

Visit hundreds of internet marketing sites these days. They will tell you all the hundreds, if not thousands of ideas and ways they can sell you some product or service to have you making gazzilions of revenues through the internet. Half before lunch, ok, it's tough, so it might take you until after lunch to get the other half of the gazzilion! Yeah, right!

What they won't tell you is the cold hard truth. Being successful on the internet takes a special blend of many ingredients. These include time, education, experience, luck, and yes--money.

Every day, I see more and more potential internet marketeers who have obviously cut corners, rushing to market a product hastlily put together, poor marketing techniques, you name it.

Aside from having a lot of money to begin with, experience shows that gaining experience and educationing yourself about internet marketing topics are the Number One areas that anyone wanting to get started needs to focus on. In reality the more one learns about marketing on the internet, the more they realize that you are just touching the surface! And with the continuing advances in technology, it's changing every day!

Ok, admit -- internet marketing is NOT EASY! It is not a piece of cake or the proverbial bed of roses. Now that we have admitted that part, what can be done then to advance or more accurately to accelerate the process? Here are a few tips that have helped mylearning curve:

Treat your growth to frequent "library time" on the internet. That is to say, just like going to a traditional library, you need to set aside some "quiet time" to surf the net with the express purpose of reading as much as possible about internet marketing topics. Simple searches on any of the major search engines will give you lots and lots of subjects that your can explore.

From the start, set up specific goals for yourself and your growth efforts. These should be short term, mid-range and longer term goals designed to continuously improve your knowledge. The quicker you become knowledgable and fluent with internet marketing, the sooner you will be having customers anxious to by your latest products and advice.

Obtain as much written literature and information on these topics as possible. Ideally, FREE information whenever possible. One faboulous resource for the full range and breadth of IM topics is Dotcomology. I personally use it on a continuing basis as a reference guide. You can get your copy absolutely free at the InternetMarketingUSA website.
Find and locate programs that include websites (already designed or customized for you) as a part of the program. Getting your own website on a reputable website hosting service is imparative.

Outsource portions of your work to supplement your own knowledge or expertise. Don't be afraid to use the expertise of others to excellerate your website capabilities. This is an ideal way to get your success on a fast track. Keep in mind you must shop around for reputable and low cost providers.

Get your very own newsletters and ezines going as soon as possible. The sooner you begin to share what you have learned, the sooner you will get your name and company "on the internet map". There are a multitude of benefits for this approach. To say the least, this is a great investment of your limited time.

Join internet marketing forums related to your specific area of interest and developing expertise. Start making many contributions to the various topics and postings to keep your self current on issues, build a reputation among your peers, and get your name and company on the search engines as content sources for other websites.

And lastly, stay positive and "have fun" with your efforts and activities. Maintaining an upbeat attitude not only helps you as you "learn the ropes" - it also comes through in your dealings with potential customers.

The best course of action to take sometimes isn't clear until you've listed and considered your alternatives. The following paragraphs should help clue you in to what the experts think is significant.

What are these three tactics?

1. Using unique web pages to promote each separate product you are marketing. Do not lump all of it together just to save some money on web hosting. It is best to have a site focusing on each and every product and nothing more.

Always include product reviews on the website so visitors will have an initial understanding on what the product can do to those who buys them. Also include testimonials from users who have already tried the product. Be sure that these customers are more than willing to allow you to use their names and photos on the site of the specific product you are marketing.

You can also write articles highlighting the uses of the product and include them on the website as an additional page. Make the pages attractive compelling and include calls to act on the information. Each headline should attract the readers to try and read more, even contact you. Highlight your special points. This will help your readers to learn what the page is about and will want to find out more.

See how much you can learn about Affiliate Marketing when you take a little time to read a well-researched article? Don't miss out on the rest of this great information.

2. Offer free reports to your readers. If possible position them at the very top side of your page so it they simply cannot be missed. Try to create autoresponder messages that will be mailed to those who input their personal information into your sign up box. According to research, a sale is closed usually on the seventh contact with a prospect.

Only two things can possibly happen with the web page alone: closed sale or the prospect leaving the page and never return again. By placing useful information into their inboxes at certain specified period, you will remind them of the product they thought they want later and will find out that the sale is closed. Be sure that the content is directed toward specific reasons to buy the product. Do not make it sound like a sales pitch.
Focus on important points like how your product can make life and things easier and more enjoyable. Include compelling subject lines in the email. As much as possible, avoid using the word “free” because there are still older spam filters that dumps those kind of contents into the junk before even anyone reading them first. Convince those who signed up for your free reports that they will be missing something big if they do not avail of your products and services.

3. Get the kind of traffic that is targeted to your product. Just think, if the person who visited your website has no interest whatsoever in what you are offering, they will be among those who move on and never come back. Write articles for publication in e-zines and e-reports. This way you can locate publications that is focusing on your target customers and what you have put up might just grab their interest.

Hopefully the sections above have contributed to your understanding of Affiliate Marketing. Share your new understanding about Affiliate Marketing with others. They'll thank you for it.

The importance of writing articles is increasingly growing as many internet marketers are witnessing the multiple benefits of this marketing tool.
Many of the new internet marketers remember only one of the benefits which is getting back links to their websites. They completely forget that through the articles that they distribute they are building their reputation not only with the readers but also with the article distribution sites. This reputation is what is going to help them build a relationship with their audience that could eventually turn into visitors to their site who could turn into paying customers.

When writing articles you should remember the following:

1- Your prospects are getting to know you through your articles. If you are writing for the sake of getting back links the readers will realize your intention easily and they will never click on your link. It is just like a sales call, if your prospect feels that you are pushing for the sale, he/she will never buy. But if they feel that you are sincerely trying to help, then your chances are much better for closing the deal.

2- What you write and distribute today will always haunt you tomorrow. Learning the hard way on the internet might be extremely costly as anybody who is doing any search on you will get among the results your old work. The question would be; would they realize that this work was when you were new?

3- Encourage your readers to click on your resource box by making sure to give them useful information that would really help them. Meaning; if you still want to distribute a large quantity of articles within a short a period of time, do not make that an excuse to reduce the quality of your articles. Each article should be written in the same spirit as if you are writing one article a month.

Writing articles poses two major obstacles to the marketers who are interested in this online marketing tool:

1- The ability to actually write articles. 2- The ability to distribute articles in an effective and efficient manner.

Writing Articles

For those who find difficulties in writing articles themselves I would recommend training themselves to that because in the long run it will serve them immensely in controlling the frequency of writing articles and the subjects they want to write about. The recommended strategy is as follows:

1- For the first couple of months hire a copy writer or the services of copy writing companies that would write articles specifically for you on the subject that you wish. Remember this is not buying a copy of an article that is sent to many others. This has to be written exclusively for you.

2- During the second month and while you are still getting the services of the exclusively written articles, get one article per week and re-write it in your own words. Meaning, get the core subject and write about it in your own way.

3- Now you can drop the exclusive services and start getting ghost written articles. Be careful, you will need to re-write those as they are given to many others. When I say re-write, I mean really re-write. Don't change few words here and there or change paragraphs and then submit, because your article will be rejected. You need to make a completely new article out of the same core subject.

You can get those articles in one of the following ways:
a. You can buy such articles b. You can search for articles related to a certain subject and choose a combination of ideas presented in those different articles. This is a free option. c. You can visit article directories and search for articles that suit you. This is also a free option.

Remember you will need to re-write the whole article, do not use someone else's article and put your name on it. This is:

1- Not Ethical 2- Will be rejected by article directories. 3- If repeated you might get black listed in some directories.

Article Distribution

As every single person in internet marketing would tell you, there are two ways to submit articles; manually and automatically. Automatically is done either through a software package or an article distribution service.

My first straight forward recommendation is never to attempt to use the manual option unless there are few extremely important sites that you need to be 100% sure that your article is submitted to them.

The automatic approach is a must to submit your article to as many directories as possible. Therefore, do not limit yourself either to an article distribution service or an article submitter software, rather use both options.

Do not purchase the first software that comes your way. There are several around and their prices and features vary a lot. Ask about the best options in forums, you will be getting very useful answers. This is how I bought my software package.

Purchasing a software could be a difficult issue to internet marketers from countries that are not among the listed countries in Paypal and Clickbank. Do not be discourages when you find that. What you should do is find the contact link on the site of the seller and ask them if they have other payment options.

Submitting articles is great fun and a wonderful motivation factor. The more you find your name around the internet the more you want to write articles.

Network marketing is, or should be, organic by definition. After all, it comes about as a natural product, or byproduct, of normal actions of you, the network marketer. Like most things organic, it might benefit a little from some planting, fertilizing and removal of parasites.

A genuine "network marketer" is concentrating more on the network than the marketing side of the equation. Many of the sales made by network marketers come more often from the trust and relationship the buyer has with the marketer rather than from the perceived qualities of the product itself. Make no mistake here, a good product at a reasonable price can influence a lot of potential buyers, but the trust in the seller will have a lot more to do with success, all other things being equal.

This brings up a point for those interested in getting into a network marketing program, but who are afraid of having to "sell" things. If done properly, the major "job" of the network marketer is to continually expand their circle of friends and acquaintances. It's a rough life, isn't it?

Another point to remember is that many internet business opportunities and internet marketing techniques adapt themselves quite easily to the network marketing model. The main difference the network is built in cyberspace and you may never see a single customer.

HOW TO BUILD A NETWORK

There are many places and activities that are good for building your network, but there are a couple of steps you might want to take first.

* Prepare yourself: At first, there are going to be two strong tendencies on your part. One is to throw up your hands and quit at the first question or contact, the other is going to be the desire to make every meeting into a sale. Both of these will probably be influenced primarily by ignorance. If you don't know what you are talking about, you will either avoid the topic completely, or babble idiotically.

You should definitely be as familiar as possible with your company, its history, its place in the business community, the products you sell, prices, return policies, and the business opportunity itself, in the case of a multi-level-marketing business. You don't have to have every figure or statistic immediately at hand, that's what brochures, website, and lunch dates are for, but you should be able to present a rational overview without consternation.

You should also prepare some simple, tantalizing responses to such beautiful lead in questions such as, "And what business are YOU in?" In his book "The Wave 4 Way To Building Your Downline," Richard Poe offers tips from a successful network marketing professional named Jerry Campisi. When asked what he does for a living, Jerry would commonly reply, "I'm a lifestyle marketer." This response would very often elicit a request for further details on the part of the listener who would then be in the position of asking about what Jerry had to sell rather than having to run away from a sales pitch.

In his network marketing classic, "Big Al's Super Prospecting: Special Offers ... Quick-Start Systems", Tom "Big Al" Schreiter offers much the same advice, including a list of sixteen possible responses, such as, "I put people on the fast track to retirement. I save them money and help them retire 15 years early". See how it works?

Prepare your tools: It doesn't hurt to have some brochures in your pocket or purse, but the biggest single physical network marketing tool you will need for building your business and your network is the simple business card.

Always have plenty of these with you and hand them out liberally. They should be simple and unobtrusive but should give the prospect all they need to get in touch with you. They should NOT be sales pitches, although they can contain the name of your business and/or a quick overview of your business. For example: Bob's Mowing - Complete Landscaping and Lawn Care.

It is also a plus to include a website and email, particularly if they contain information about your business: bobrobertslandscaping.com, email bob@bobrobertslandscaping.com. That website did not exist when I wrote this, by the way, so if you are Bob Roberts and are in landscaping, go for it!
WHERE TO BUILD YOUR NETWORK

Your network will be mainly built from two groups, professional contacts and social contacts. I view professional contacts as two groups, although there might be some overlap or blurring between the two. I refer to connected and non-connected professionals.

YOUR PROFESSIONAL NETWORK

Connected professionals are the people you work with or come in contact with as a result of your "real" business if you are just getting started in network marketing. You have to be careful here as you can alienate someone you need for your regular business, or you might create a conflict or overstep a boundary. Just as one example, many companies frown on soliciting and might consider even talking about your network business as grounds for censure or even firing.

Non-connected professionals are those such as property managers, real estate agents, car sales people, and others who may already have a rich network of contacts, who may have some sales experience or expertise, and who might be interested in your opportunity if not your product. I won't call these people "fair game", but you certainly do have a little more latitude in contacting them and explaining your business, and having them join you could be quite a boost.

YOUR SOCIAL NETWORK

You may already have a broad network of social contacts, but here are a few suggestions of what you can do to broaden this network.

1. Public places and events: You can frequent malls, fairs, coffee shops, sidewalk sales, garage sales, and other group functions...all in the interest of broadening your reach. Stay away from selling. Talk of generalities or the weather, or who won the game last night, but have your cards ready and know what you are going to say when the moment arrives.

A lady asked me about a wrap I had on my wrist the other day, and I jokingly replied that it was an occupational hazard. I spent so much time making money on my computer that I must have gotten carpal tunnel syndrome. Trust me, after that, she was more interested in the money she could make than possible damage to her arm. By the way, I switched to an ergonomic keyboard and mouse along with a better chair and it cleared up.

2. Clubs and organizations: While many of these are targeted groups with agendas of their own, there are a great many opportunities to network with the membership, and they are a great way to expand your own group of contacts. You can also sometimes get some great help in other ways as well. More than one person, including myself, has gotten a good job through a social contact, or a good price on furniture.

3. Speaking engagements: If you are knowledgeable on a subject related to your business, you can provide free workshops, classes, or talks on that subject. Don't think it works? I once watched woman who sold self-defense items such as pepper spray, whistles, and books, sell over 200 items after giving a 45 minute talk on protecting yourself.

4. Business lunches or seminars: Here's an opportunity to mingle with like minded people who might be interested in what you have to offer. It's a great time to exchange cards and practice your "what do you do for a living?" response. By the way, there is a website called MeetUp.com. You can go there and sign up to join or start groups of people in your area who share your interests. Two weeks from today, I am going to participate in a seminar on search engine optimization. The audience will include a lot of people who will be interested in internet marketing...a topic I know a little about. I wonder if I can give them a card?

There are many other situations such as PTA meetings, weddings, and even church functions which become great network marketing opportunities when you leave the selling at home and concentrate on making friends and acquaintances.

You know, I have been an internet marketer for almost ten years now. I have reached a point where I actually support myself, and quite well, I might add, from my internet businesses.

It wasn't always so. I made a lot of dumb, and sometimes ignorant (the two are not the same) mistakes along the way. Somehow, I managed to learn enough about internet marketing to get successful at it in spite of myself. However, in the process, I paid for a lot of junk and wasted my time on a lot of things that didn't work. I usually refer to this as "accidental tuition".

As a result, I get a little irked when someone approaches me, or posts a message on a forum, saying or implying that they want to get into or have found an internet business that "makes money" or "guarantees" success. I have found that a successful internet business is just like the brick-and-mortar kind. It takes dedication, motivation, inspiration, hard work...and sometimes blind luck.

A successful internet marketing strategy is just like its non-internet business counterpart. It is made up of several factors, and does not simply consist of putting a guy on the sidewalk with a sign on a stick, or building a website and submitting it to search engines. Most people would not expect the sign on the stick to work marketing miracles, but, probably in internet ignorance, they tend to believe the website + search engine = success scenario.

Many who read this article think that way, at least until they read what I wrote in the paragraph above this one. Despite the negativity of the previous paragraph, however, I am not trying to discourage anyone from forming an internet business or diving into the internet marketing pool. It's fun in here, and the more the merrier! I DO want to dispel unrealistic expectations of what is involved in running an internet business in general, and what is involved in internet marketing in particular.

A point I am gradually sneaking up on is that, like many things in life, successful internet marketing may not be as simple as it looks. Nor will one single strategy work for every internet business at all times. It will be necessary to learn many things and some, which may seem simple and basic, may need to be modified to meet the needs of each unique internet business. The bright side is that many techniques are tried and true and will probably serve anyone well, although they might work better for one business than another.

Internet marketing itself can seem relatively simple. You start with a good product or service, create quality marketing vehicles (most important being the website), and then you lead people to the website. In fact, that's all that internet marketing is about...getting interested people to your website.
How do you do that? Well, that's where things get complicated. You can use Pay-Per-Click search engines, search engine optimization, opt-in mailing lists, free gifts, business cards, flyers, contests, rewards! The list is bounded only by your imagination.

There are four basic ways to acquire the mass of background information you need for a successful internet marketing strategy:

1. Go through the internet university of hard knocks, like I, and so many others, have. The tuition is high, and it will probably take you a few years to get your diploma.

2. Go into research. That is, read everything you can find on the internet, running an internet business, and internet marketing. This too will take a long period of time, and you will still probably have to go out of pocket as you test your learning at various points.

3. Find a mentor. There are people on the internet who have been successful and who share this information with others. Quite often, even they charge a fee, but your opportunity for success might be higher. However, it is difficult to find someone to be your mentor. They are running their own businesses.

4. Take an internet marketing course. If you can find the right course, even though you will have to pay for the course, the information you can glean can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars as you wade into the fast running stream of internet business opportunities. I have taken three of these courses myself, and wish I had known of their existence when I first started trying to make money on the internet. I could have save thousands of dollars and hours of time, and an immeasurable amount of frustration.

Simply taking an internet marketing course will not guarantee you success, of course. In fact, you will begin to realize how many ways you can fail! However, you will learn important lessons that you can use to create a successful internet business. I do NOT recommend trying to learn it on your own.

Getting Lots of Online Traffic Is The Holy Grail Of Internet Marketing

Loads of internet traffic is the goal of every internet marketer but unfortunately it's easier said than achieved. The question at hand then (especially if you are new to internet marketing) is how do you increase internet traffic to your site?

There are three fundamental ways to get internet traffic to your site. Some of these methods have fairly rapid results, some are more long term and some are free while others will require you dipping into your pocket. Okay here goes...the following are the three main methods to increase internet traffic to your site:

1. Paying For Internet Traffic: In an ideal world it would simply be a case of build it and then they'll come. But as you are well aware this world of ours is far from ideal...so unfortunately you are going to have to sweat a little to get that online traffic! I'm sure like most of us you really don't want to pay for internet traffic (who does?) but the plain fact is, if your site is new, while you are busy struggling to claw your way up the search engine rank pages (SERPs) paid advertising is your quickest route to get internet traffic.

Another reason why (if you're new to online marketing) you should seriously consider using this method is the fact that your site is going to be just another splash in a tidal wave of millions of internet marketing sites.

And know what that means? It means the search engines are going to be ever so reluctant to facilitate your climb to the top! Why? Because you aren't offering any new, unique or useful information to the web (well probably not in the beginning at least)--and that by the way is the core of the search engine business--offering useful information to searchers.

Further more this is also the reason why people who target niche markets get higher SERP listings and higher page rank so much faster than somebody who targets an already saturated, highly competitive market.

Paying to get internet traffic is what is commonly referred to as Pay-Per-Click or PPC. At its most basic, pay-per-click marketing involves you composing an advert and bidding for a relevant searched-for keyword. Your ad will then be listed on the relevant search engine index pages for that same keyword you bid.

The more competitive a keyword is, the higher your bid price will have to be for your ad to appear on either Page 1 or Page 2 of the search engines (the reason why you want to be on the first two search engine pages is that most people rarely go deeper than two pages to view the results of their search query). The advantages of PPC advertising is that it can increase internet traffic to your site within a few minutes to hours.

The disadvantage is that it is very competitive and if you aren't careful, it can cost you a mini-fortune with little to show for it. So you'd be well advised to take the time to learn the ropes for PPC marketing before diving headlong. If you are new to the whole PPC concept, go to Google and read up about their PPC model commonly known as Google Adwords.

The following is a list of PPC models you can use to increase internet traffic to your site:

The Big Guns: Google Adwords; Yahoo! Search Marketing.

The Lesser Guns: Kanoodle; Ask Jeeves; Enhance Interactive; 7Search.

2. Free Internet Traffic: Yes there is such a thing as free on-target internet traffic, and the advantages are self-evident...FREE! The flip side however, is that you are going to have to put in a little bit more effort into harnessing this particular brand of internet traffic. So how do you go about getting this free online traffic--simply...by promoting yourself to the online community as an expert in your field.

And the way to do this is by writing interesting, informative and useful articles relevant to your target audience. Next thing, submit your article to as many Article Directories as you can. Then Kazaam! Before you know it, people will be snapping up your articles as content for their sites! There are hundreds of article directories out there and almost as many software programs to automate your article submission so finding places to submit your articles to shouldn't be a problem. If your articles are well written and informative a lot of the better directories will even include them on their high-stream RSS (real simple syndication) traffic list.

Not only will writing good articles develop new internet traffic flow to your site, it will also boost your conversion ratio (visitors-to-buyer) because your well written articles (or so we hope) will foster a degree of trust and respect in your visitors...which ultimately translates into a visitor who is more receptive to buy from you. However, equally important is the fact that writing articles is the best way to get highly relevant one-way back-links pointing to your site without spending a dime!

Talking about links, if there is only one thing you should know about links, it is that keyword relevant one-way links are the best links to have. Furthermore, since they are coming from topically related sites those links are really going to be highly rated by the search engines.

Well written articles will have an enormous impact on increasing internet traffic to your website through the viral nature of their dissemination...the only drawback is it may take some time. So with this in mind it's best to start your article writing as soon as possible. That way your back-links will be picked up sooner by the search engines!

A final note about article submission...it's better to submit to article directories with high page rank, at least to begin with. How come? Because it's a well known fact that search engine spiders tend to crawl websites with higher page rank much more frequently than sites with low or zero page rank. In essence this means that those back-links pointing to your site will be picked up that much quicker by the search engine crawlers.

What is long tail search engine optimization? And how will it help your internet business?
The theory is simple really. You can make just as much money or maybe more out of the less clicked keywords than the more popular keywords for your given product or service.

Although this may have not been feasible some years ago, with the advance in many keyword and analytical software programs, it is now possible.

So lets examine the theory a little more.

The premise is that by knowing many or even all of the keywords and phrases that bring in say 20 to 30 percent of your traffic, you can capitalize on this by meshing or organizing these keywords together which then leads to a snowball effect on the search engines and creates many more rankings.

As you build more and more of these keyword pages or blog postings, your incoming traffic will start to climb and within a given period of time, 50 or 60 percent of your traffic can be supplied through these many additional higher rankings or “long tail” optimized keywords and phrases.

Such a shift away from having to “compete” with many other websites in your business field does and will bring many benefits.

1. The option of removing the use of some advertising completely. 2. The option of minimizing some advertising and campaigns. 3. The option of scaling down search engine optimization campaigns. 4. Due to the expansion of keywords and phrases, the option to add additional and or up-sell products. 5. With more pages, the use or larger use of monetized advertising could be used. i.e. Google Adsense.

This is by far a minimum list of all the benefits that such a “long tail” campaign may bring however the main points being reduction in costs and increase in profits.
Combine this with the current low prices of placing new material online and the minimal fees required to have new content written in economically growing countries, you have a very cost effective marketing plan.

Lastly, one of the main focal points or benefits of such a campaign would be the major search engines themselves.

Constantly scrapping over high targeted keywords, is off course accepted by the search engines, as long as you always stay within their rules and requirements.

What the search engines do actually love… is on topic, keyword rich content pages and lots of them!

Submitting many of these “long tail" keyword pages will then lead to many first page rankings, thus helping your whole website via the downward flow of a higher ranking score. In turn, this helps all pages, even those that have a high level of competition and may have previously required search engine optimization.

At the end of the day, a very well thought out SEO marketing campaign is about utilizing all options available for maximum return. For your business, “long tail” search engine optimization may just be one of those options.

The holy grail of getting your website listed is getting your website spidered.
Once the spiders from Google, MSN and Yahoo spider your site and find unique content, they know that your website bears watching. The trick is to get those spiders to come back often and find new content every time. Here is how I do it.

Create Unique Content

There are two ways to do this. The first is by creating your own completely unique content.

Making your own unique content is easier than it sounds.

Do a little research - check out a forum in your area of interest - see what people are asking questions about. By writing an article that answers a need, you have a ready audience hungry and ready to eat.

Put a bit of your personality into your writing. Be consistent. If you are going for funny - put a little humor in each article. If you are sarcastic, blunt and even a little obnoxious - you will gather a following for your style. So, don't jump from one style to another.

Once your article has 'incubated' on your website for about a week, the search engines will know that you originated this content. Then, when other people publish your content - it is like an homage to your site. Then, put your article on article collection websites. The easiest and most effective way to do this is by using a program to help.

If you are going to be using this marketing method - and I strongly suggest you do - then get the best program for this task by far - ArticleAnnouncer. It is a bit expensive, but highly worthwhile.

The second way to have unique content on your site is by using other people's content. This is extremely easy and effective. Pick an article that will be useful to your readers.

Make it unique content. Here is how I do it. Write an introduction to the article. Comment on what you found useful in the article and how it will help your readers.

At the end of the article add an RSS feed. This is easily done with Carp. Carp is a free program that will allow you to put an RSS feed on your website. The RSS will show up as HTML. That way, the search engine will see it when it spiders your site.

The beauty of this is that the RSS will change, so each time your site is spidered, the search engines see new content. To them, it looks like you have changed your website by hand. Let the Spiders Know!
Once you have your article on your site, let the spiders know that you have new content. The easiest way to do this is by making a Google Sitemap.

There is an extremely easy way to make your website, make a google sitemap and let Google know that you did. That is by using my favorite site building program - XSitePro.

XSitePro will build the sitemap and then take you to Google to let then know that your sitemap has been updated. So, how do the spiders know to come to your site?

There are two ways. One is by following links. By propogating your article. You are assured of getting large numbers of links to your site.

A recent article that I wrote currently has 998,000 references to my site. Not all of these have active links, but a significant number do. Each time the spiders hits one of those links, they have a significant chance of going to your website.

The second way the spiders come to your site is by the Google Sitemap that you built with XSitePro and published. I have found that Google consistently spiders my site within a few minutes of letting them know that there is new content.

Again, here are the steps:

1) Make good content - either original or other useful content that you have enhanced.

2) Publish a Google sitemap.

3) Notify Google that you have updated your sitemap. If you use these steps, you will have great results. PS - I am publishing this site now - I expect the spiders any minute.
